Japan is an establishment named “Good Time Charlie.” It is a country music entertainment
oasis.
Charlie
Nagatani is “Good Time Charlie.” He is
an honorary citizen in 33 states in the United States. He is also a Kentucky Colonel (along with
Colonel Shun of Japan). Charlie has been
singing country music since 1956. He has
played at the Grand Ole Opry since 1985.
He met President Clinton. Charlie
also appeared on Hee Haw. Hee Haw was an
American television variety show rooted in country music.
