Hunger in the USA

Hunger in the USA

A recent article appearing in The Dallas Morning news attempted to portray seventeen states in the United States as having malnutrition rates equivalent to many third-world countries.  Another glowing example of the American news media hating the country of their birth.

Truth is if someone is suffering from malnutrition in the USA, most cases it is by choice.  The United States has the richest poor people in the world.  Most of the USA poor enjoy a lifestyle equal to the middle class in many countries.

Poor in the USA have available to them food stamps, free medical care, free cell phone, rent / mortgage subsidies, lower utility rates, and tuition aid.  Many live in air condition homes; own a car, washer, dryer, cable TV, flat screen TVs, and many amenities.
