"They cling to guns or religion" --Barack Obama, April, 08

"Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." -- George Washington, first president of the United States of America

Early this year Senator Barack Obama seeking the Democratic Partys nomination for President spoke in Pennsylvania. A few days later while at a fund raiser in San Francisco, California, here is what Mr. Obama said about the people in Pennsylvania:

"But the truth is, is that; our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there's not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not."

Now for the bitter clinger part of Senator Obamas speech:

"So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

While in Pennsylvania, he made no mention of guns or religion, yet when speaking to his base, the far left, wacko millionaires who suffer from the mental disorder known as liberalism; it comes up as a negative. Further proof the self proclaimed elites in the United States of America (USA) supporting Obama, who live in places like New York City, San Francisco, Hollywood, Boston, Washington, DC, are out of touch with the Americans who make this country work. It is further proof of their contempt for what they call fly over country, the America between the two coast necessary to fly over to get from New York City to Los Angeles. These elitist want your guns to be confiscated, and your religion to be diminished, if not outlawed. Think!

Now the Republican Party presidential nominee Senator John McCain released an advertisement video with these bitter clingers, part of which is shown in this video. We the bitter clingers need to remember this come Election Day.
